SHSAT Summer Prep @ SamSchool

This intensive program consists of 36 well-structured test prep sessions of 3 hours each. In each session, the students study and solve typical SHSAT-style problems in ELA and math sections. They will receive valuable guidance and tips in understanding and answering ELA, reading and math questions. Smart answering and effective strategies are discussed and practiced during the entire course. Subject topics (such as algebra, fractions, percentages, etc.,) are reviewed and re-visited to reinforce the basics and concepts. The students are particularly trained to complete and review the test within the given time.

The course also administers 3 to 4 full-length practice tests in SHSAT style to assess and improve score levels. Test-prep materials include specially-prepared exercises with illustrations and step-by-step workouts, sample questions & answers and practice tests.

During the course, the students typically practice —

— Over 3,000 math exercises

— Over 200 ELA questions.

— Numerous reading passages.

This course also extends to 4 review sessions at no additional cost before the test in October 2019.

SamSchool uses specially-developed SHSAT courseware, illustrated practice tests, sample solutions, classroom exercises, pop quizzes and home assignments.

Course Schedule

— 32 Summer sessions: July 6, 2020 to August 27, 2020 (3 hours a day x 4 days a week x 8 weeks. Most classes are on Mondays to Thursdays. A few class tests and practice tests may be scheduled on Fridays.)

— 4 Review sessions: Weekday evenings in the month of October, before the test. (No additional cost.)

— Total sessions: 36.
