Some protocols for students – which will be updated from time to time:
— Students must be punctual to the class. Students may login a few minutes before the class and wait to be “admitted”.
— Every student must have a new notebook, 3 sharpened-pencils and an eraser. (No pen, please.)
— Students must sit on a chair with a laptop / monitor on a desk. Students should not lie down on the bed or on the floor!
— Any TV or music in the room must be turned off and the doors must be closed to avoid distraction.

— Students must use ear / headphones with mic.

— Please avoid loud or distracting noises in the background.

— Student should not change the video background or use any icons.

— Only the students should view and participate in the class. Others (including parents) are not allowed to view and/or participate in the class.

— Students must wear proper dress and focus the camera only on the face. If necessary, please install a separate (external) webcam.
— No food or soda or chewing gums during the class. Students may drink water, if necessary.
— No bathroom breaks during the class. Also, students must avoid stepping out during the class.

— If a student wishes to ask a question, he / she must raise the hand and wait till he/ she is called out. (Do not use Zoom’s hand button!)
— If you need help anytime, please feel free to ask! But, please wait till the topic of discussion is complete. Quite possibly, your question may have been answered already..
— This is a group class. We encourage and motivate every student to participate, ask questions and answer questions.
— If a student knows how to solve a problem, it does not mean others do. So, please respect others by keeping quiet.
— Generally, questions are asked to students in a sequential order. So, please do not answer if it is not your turn!

— Keep your microphone “muted” except to ask or answer a question.

— Students who do not follow class protocols and cause delays and distractions in the class may be expelled from the course.
